  • We are running low on tissues and whiteboard pens! We would LOVE it if you could please bring in some extras to get us to the end of the year. Thank you!
  • Athletics day is scheduled for Thursday 28th of September. The juniors will be participating in activities from 9.15am through to morning tea at 11am. Each learner will be given a team colour for the morning so they can wear this colour on the day-This has been emailed to you.

  • Our pta group (GROW West Rolleston) have a facebook page set up to provide you all with information regarding events, fundraising etc.  All parents are encouraged to join this page!

  • Thank you to Mrs Clarkson’s and Miss Finn’s whānau groups who brought along their miniature lego houses.  We are now going to be starting our filming and would love it if you have any dress ups at home that we could borrow. For example princesses, princes, knights etc

Some other information

  • We are asking Mrs Clarkson’s and Miss Finn’s whānau groups to make a miniature lego house at home if they can and bring it into school to contribute to part of our drama unit this term. We will just be using it to take photos of. They will be labelled and kept in a safe place while not in use!
  • Just a reminder about wearing the correct school uniform. Children should be wearing black pants/shorts or culottes. You may wear tights under the culottes but they need to be black. You can wear a black thermal under the school polo. Socks and shoes must also be black.
  • If you have any unwanted toys, dress up’s, new world little shops, mega blocks, duplo etc we would love them for our studio.
  • We are starting our baking next week. We are going to be making cheese rolls. So we are are in need of some bread, cheese, evaporated milk, onion soup mix and if possible could we please borrow some rolling pins.
