ORANA PARK

We had so much fun at Orana  Park on Monday. We really enjoyed looking at all the animals and learning lots of new things. All of the Year 0 and year 1's travelled to Orana Park on three busses in the morning, and we got back to school for an ice-block after 2pm. It was so hot! 🌞 🌞 🌞
We were split into 5 groups for the day and had a timetable of which animals we would see.
Here are just some of the photos showing what we got up to during the day.

We learnt a new fact about Zebras. Zebras look the same but actually their stripes are different. They recognise each other from their different markings.
Baby zebra have brown and white stripes, not black and white.

The Lion really liked playing with the box he found in his enclosure. He was running around with it and came really close so we could see him easily.
The Lions at Orana Park don't have manes around their necks.

The giraffes are awesome! We are so lucky that we even got to feed them.

We had some very tired children on the bus trip back to school. πŸ˜΄ πŸ˜΄ πŸ˜΄
What a day! We loved it
